This series explores the ever-changing relationship between light and shadow. The starkness of the colorless palette opposes the traditional interpretation of sun, it is darker at the origin which is also in contrast to reality.
The piece changes depending upon the light sources and position of the viewer.
3D printed structures create a frame and interior edges. This piece is 24 x 48 inches; the depth varies from approximately 1.5 inches to 3 inches; can be hung on any side. Each section is painted in acrylic.
